Appraisal

The appraisal went well. The Mitchells moved their stuff out last weekend. We are supposed to close on Friday. Keep your fingers crossed! I have a few more pictures. I will try to load them. This is not my furniture, of course. Too bad. The lady who lived here had really pretty taste.

Missing videos?

Okay, so the videos were downloaded for two days, then the guy had to remove them because he videos tons of houses every month for inspections & needed the space. I tried to download them to my computer, to no avail. Bummer. :( My son informs me that in order to download videos from you-tube & save them to my computer I have to have semi-illegal software loaded on my computer. Since I am trying to teach 21st learners to be RESPONSIBLE DIGITAL CITIZENS, this does not seem like a good option to me. So...........I'll go back with my own camera & do a video. Sometime in the very near future!! It's so nice! Potfiller! Hotdog!

House inspection

Friday, October 7
We got to the inspection a little early (Jimmy was driving, are you surprised?), to find the inspector had been there since 8:00 AM. Boy, is he thorough. It went GREAT! I am going to try to download the videos he took.

New House

Friday, September 30.
Well after months of living in a hotel, then a rent house, our plans are finally finished. We took them to the contractor, and today he gave us the price. Oh, dear. Now Jimmy is convinced we can buy the house we want cheaper than we can build it. Hmm....but will it have a potfiller over the stove?

Sunday, October 2
We went back to see houses we had seen before. Went back to that house on Dunn Ferry Road. The one that is perfect, except for that floor. Even has a ....POTFILLER! Will I get used to that floor? Doesn't have a pool either....What will they take for an offer.

Monday, October 3
We put a bid on the house and......they accepted it! Now for the inspection......
